Plant Hub Local
Seller Payout Policy
This policy explains how seller payout works on Plant Hub Local. Seller payout is tied to buyer-confirmed local pickup.
Main payout rule
Seller payout is released only after the buyer confirms pickup complete, unless the order is disputed, canceled, refunded, blocked, or Stripe payout requirements are not ready.
Seller payout timing
Plant Hub Local does not release seller payout immediately at checkout.
Seller payout is held until the buyer confirms pickup complete.
Once pickup is confirmed, the order is considered complete and Plant Hub Local may release seller payout through Stripe Connect.
Stripe Connect requirement
Sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before they can receive payouts.
Stripe may require identity, tax, banking, business, or personal information before enabling charges or payouts.
Plant Hub Local cannot release payout to a seller whose Stripe account is not ready to receive payouts.
Fees
Plant Hub Local may charge a seller platform fee and a buyer service fee.
The seller platform fee reduces the seller payout amount.
The buyer service fee does not reduce the seller payout amount.
Stripe processing fees may reduce the platform’s actual net amount.
Issue reports and disputes
If a buyer or seller reports an issue before pickup is confirmed, seller payout may be paused while Plant Hub Local reviews the order.
Plant Hub Local may refund the buyer, cancel the order, return the order to pickup pending, or take another reasonable action depending on the situation.
Seller payout is generally not released while an order is in disputed status.
Buyer-confirmed pickup
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the plant before confirming pickup.
When the buyer confirms pickup, the buyer acknowledges that they received and accepted the plant.
After buyer pickup confirmation, seller payout may be released and refunds are generally not available for plant condition concerns, care issues, buyer’s remorse, or anything the buyer could have inspected at pickup.
Failed or delayed payouts
Seller payouts may fail or be delayed if Stripe requires more information, the seller’s connected account is restricted, banking information is incomplete, or Stripe is unable to process the transfer.
Plant Hub Local may show a seller-safe payout status or payout error message when available.
Sellers may need to complete Stripe requirements before payout can be retried.
