Plant Hub Local
Pickup Policy
Plant Hub Local is built around local pickup. This policy explains when buyers get pickup details, when they should inspect the plant, and when the transaction is complete.
Main pickup rule
The buyer must inspect the plant before confirming pickup. Once the buyer confirms pickup, the order is considered complete and seller payout may be released.
Local pickup only
Plant Hub Local is a local pickup-only marketplace.
Plant Hub Local does not offer shipping, delivery, returns, or insurance.
Before checkout
Public listings show the plant details, price, quantity, photos, seller name when available, general pickup area, and approximate distance when available.
Exact pickup address and seller contact details are hidden before checkout.
After payment
After the buyer pays, the order waits for seller confirmation.
The seller confirms the sale and provides or confirms the pickup window, pickup address, instructions, and optional pickup note.
The buyer sees final pickup details only after the seller confirms pickup details.
Buyer inspection responsibility
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the plant at pickup before confirming pickup complete.
The buyer should check that the plant matches the listing, appears acceptable, and is the item they agreed to buy.
If there is a problem, the buyer should not confirm pickup. The buyer should use Report issue instead.
Confirming pickup
When the buyer confirms pickup, the buyer acknowledges that they received and accepted the plant.
Once pickup is confirmed, the order is considered complete and seller payout may be released.
After pickup confirmation, refunds are generally not available for plant condition concerns, care issues, buyer’s remorse, or anything the buyer could have inspected at pickup.
Report issue
If there is a serious problem before pickup is confirmed, the buyer or seller may report an issue from the order page.
Reporting an issue may move the order into dispute status and pause seller payout while Plant Hub Local reviews the situation.
Plant Hub Local may refund, cancel, restock, return the order to pickup pending, or take another reasonable action based on the issue.
After pickup
Plants are living items and can change after pickup based on transport, watering, light, temperature, pests, soil, repotting, and care.
After pickup is confirmed, the buyer is responsible for care and handling of the plant.
Plant Hub Local does not guarantee future plant health, rooting, flowering, fruiting, growth, or survival after pickup.
