Terms of Use

Plant Hub Local connects local buyers and sellers of plants. Plant Hub Local does not own, inspect, store, ship, deliver, or guarantee the plants listed by sellers.

All sales are local pickup only. Shipping is not offered through Plant Hub Local.

Sellers are responsible for creating accurate listings, including plant name, description, condition, size, quantity, photos, price, and pickup details.

Sellers must not list plants for free or for $0. Every listing must have a dollar sale price.

Sellers are responsible for confirming the pickup window and providing accurate pickup instructions after a buyer has paid.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing the listing before checkout and inspecting the plant at pickup before confirming pickup.

Because buyers pick up the plant in person, buyers have the opportunity and responsibility to inspect the plant before completing the transaction.

Once a buyer confirms pickup, the buyer acknowledges that they received and accepted the plant.

A buyer pays through Plant Hub Local before receiving final exact pickup information.

After payment, the seller confirms the sale and pickup window. Final pickup address and instructions are shown to the buyer only after seller confirmation.

Seller payout is not released immediately at checkout. Seller payout is held until pickup is confirmed complete by the buyer.

Once the buyer confirms pickup, the order is considered complete and seller payout may be released.

After pickup is confirmed, refunds are generally not available for plant condition concerns, care issues, buyer’s remorse, or issues the buyer could have inspected at pickup.

Buyers should not confirm pickup if there is a problem. They should use Report issue before confirming pickup.

If there is a serious issue before pickup is confirmed, the buyer or seller may report an issue through the order page.

Reporting an issue may pause pickup confirmation and seller payout while Plant Hub Local reviews the situation.

Plant Hub Local may cancel, refund, return an order to pickup pending, or take other reasonable action based on the available information.

Plants are living items. Plant Hub Local does not guarantee future plant health, growth, survival, flowering, fruiting, rooting, or propagation success after pickup.

Buyers are responsible for plant care after pickup is confirmed.

Plant Hub Local may charge buyer service fees and seller platform fees.

Fees are shown during checkout and/or seller order review where applicable.

Stripe or other payment processing fees may also apply to the platform transaction.

One account may buy and sell on Plant Hub Local.

Users are responsible for keeping their account information secure and using the marketplace honestly and respectfully.

Plant Hub Local may update these terms as the marketplace grows or features change.

Continued use of Plant Hub Local after changes means you accept the updated terms.
